WordPress access is cheerfully setup at the completion of the project, but not during development. Balance must be paid in full before WordPress access can be released.
Third Party Software: Time to trouble-shoot issues or provide training on third party software is not included within the scope of this proposal. Examples of third-party software would include Authorize.net payment gateways, scheduling applications, backup software that is not the typical WordPress plugins.
  • ADA compliant design is included in this proposal IF accepted as a line item on the project costs.
  • Copyrights and ownership of images is the client responsibility. webFEAT Complete assumes no responsibility for image ownership or licensing on materials that are furnished by the client. If paid images are used within the site (iStock or other photo services) the cost for these images will be billed at the end of the project.
The site will be compatible with the following browsers: Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome, Safari
  • Photo galleries will have a maximum of 15 photos unless listed otherwise in the above outline.  If you are on a WFC monthly plan, there is no extra charge. We will add additional images for you at $125/hour.
  • Website forms will typically store form data on the server and this data can be accessed in the backend login of the website.  The user’s information will be sent to a company email account for your review. If your form requires social security numbers, birth dates, or other secure information, the form MUST be secure.  This information cannot be emailed to you.   If your form must be secure and it is NOT specified on the above site outline, please consult your rep for additional costs in hosting, data storage and SSL purchase.
  • Ongoing support and maintenance contracts can be created for your acceptance.   If you do not opt for a maintenance plan at this time, you may incur fees at a later date due to WordPress theme updates, plugin updates, and security updates that are not compatible with your site’s code. Be sure to request a WP3 hosting contract which will cover plugin update maintenance.
  • We are happy to provide FTP access, but please keep in mind that if an error occurs and backup restoration is required, a restoration fee is necessary.  Balance must be paid in full before FTP access can be released.

  • Changes made to the site by outside sources that cause file corruption are billable These sources include (but are not limited to) damages caused by hackers, compromised FTP access, client employee negligence or intentional disruption, or other questionable access methods.  Some of these fees may be covered under the WP3 hosting plan.
  • Site support is valid for 30 days after the launch date.  Any necessary code adjustments will be made within the 30-day period providing they are within the original scope of work.  However, if FTP access has been provided OR if site is hosted on a server other than the webFEAT servers, the support contract is invalid and all work is billable. 
  • Hosting is assumed to be on the webFEAT servers.  IF the site is to be hosted on any server other than webFEAT Hosting, you must let us know this at the commencement of the project.  There will be billable fees incurred to launch the new site on another server.
  • Site estimate is valid for 30 days.
  • Site files remain the property of webFEAT Complete until the contract has been fulfilled and all invoices have been paid in full.
  • Monthly fees for webFEAT Complete programs will begin 30 days from date below. Monthly fees are for twelve months and require a 60-day written cancellation after the 12-month period.
  • If account payments are in arrears by more than sixty days, account services will be placed on hold until payments are up to date.  Monthly invoices for program fees will continue per the contract and be due as if work had continued.
  • No launch date is implied unless indicated in writing on this contract.
  • Domain renewal notifications are provided to our clients as a courtesy.  This does not imply that we are legally responsible for the renewal of domains.  Domain renewal is NOT the responsibility of webFEAT Complete.
  • Site issues that are caused by improper backups or out of date security updates are billable at an hourly rate. It is important to keep the site backed up and up to date on all recommended updates. Always backup site files prior to updating the security updates.  Do NOT update the site’s theme.  We offer a hosting plan (WP3)  that includes our updating the site files for you.  It is highly recommended that you select this plan!
Restart Fees: Should site design lapse due to lack of supplied content, images or feedback, a restart fee of $500 will apply. You would be notified at 30 days, and the restart fee would be imposed after 45 days of inactivity.
PAYMENT TERMS: If contract amount is under $3000, the purchase will be invoiced in two payments of 50% due upon signing and 50% due Net 30. On contracts over $3000, the purchase will be invoiced as 50% due upon signing, 25% due Net 30 and 25% due prior to launch. The balance due must be paid in full within 180 days after the signing of this contract. The site must be paid in full prior to site launch. The final payment includes any scope increase changes that were incurred during the project.

WP3 Hosting Terms and Conditions :
  • Site hosting fees are billed quarterly, unless annual is indicated. SSL fees will be billed annually and will auto-renew each year. 
  • Costs for updates to plugin licenses and themes will be invoiced each year.  Theme updates are often required to ensure correct usability and will be invoiced separately when they are required.
  • Conducting updates to plugins requires advanced technical skills. Some plugins may have been customized to provide increased functionality for the website. Do not attempt to update the plugins or themes yourself. Doing so will invalidate/void this agreement and result in billable hours to repair damages to the website
  • We are happy to provide FTP access, but please keep in mind that if an error occurs and backup restoration is required, there are fees for backup restoration. 
  • Changes made to the site by outside sources that cause file corruption are billable. (Unless you have a WFC maintenance plan in place.)   These sources include (but are not limited to) damages caused by hackers, compromised FTP access, client employee negligence or intentional disruption, or other questionable access methods.
  • Theme updates are not included in the wp3 program.  These are time intensive and could necessitate a redesign.
If customization has been made to a parent WP Theme versus the child them, additional costs will be incurred to conduct updates in order to prevent destruction of site files. Sites that are built without a child theme cannot be updated without significant risk to the site. Theme updates to a parent theme may be necessary in order to mitigate security risks. Damages to the site that occur when this happens, are billable and outside the scope of this agreement.
  • Site setup fees and email migration fees will vary depending on the complexity of the website.
  • PCI Compliance testing and adjustments are not included in the WP3 plan.
